Jesus is our Rock
Jesus has many different names and titles throughout the scriptures and the psalms are written from various seasons in life, there are many different perspectives of how Jesus/ God acts.

Psalm 18 is written at a time when the author, King David, was delivered from his enemies by God. In this Psalm, David almost immediately calls God his rock, because God was dependable and stable. There was nothing that could overtake God or move Him. And this truth wasn't just for David, but for anyone who relies on God.

When we belong to God, He is a rock and a fortress for us as well. Everything in the world is constantly shifting, but we belong to a God who never changes. He is our protection from things that might seek to harm us.

We belong to a God who can protect us throughout our lives. Even if we don’t have physical enemies, we can run to God when life gets difficult. That’s why, like David, our response to God should be filled with praise. We need to remember what God has done—so we can praise Him for who He is.

Take some time today to thank God for how He has led and protected you so far in your life. And if you’re currently in a difficult season, run to God and ask Him for help. He is able and willing to be your rock.

Have I left my booking for the National too late?
Well yes & no - there are now no double beds left (but maybe you planned that as your spouse snores). But yes you can still book for another 21 days. Couples will be placed with couples and for everyone else we will try to only use bottom bunks. https://cmaaus.org/nsw/tuneup/

Planning on staying off-site and only attending for lunch & dinner? Wish I was that rich as you will have to pay $91 a day (their price not ours) for access to the site, lunch & dinner and you don't even get the CMA goodies bag!

ACT only 1 (not Albo)
Tas - 1 and he's started swimming already
Qld 7 (out of how many members)
Vic 12 (we saw your penguins last year)
WA 5 (the serious travellers)
SA 8 (apparently we are a pit stop on the way to the MotoGP)
NSW 27 (well there should be more of us!)

Sadly this is about half the number of previous years and we will be re-evaluating options for 2032 (tents & swags are cheaper)

Maybe you truly want to make a difference and you want the people around you to know God, but it’s hard—because you’re trudging forward through tears.

We don’t always get to choose the environment in which we sow seeds. But regardless, we—people made in the image of God—are called to love Him and love people, to be fruitful and multiply, to go and make disciples, and to trust Him with our grief.

Joy is often preceded by tears, which should give us great hope.

So, let’s continue to do the good work God has put before us. Let’s continue to plant seeds in faith, even through tears. Let’s honor Him as we sow our seeds and trust Him with the harvest.
