🛠️ Church Working Bee – This Sunday, 31 May 🛠️

We’d love your help as we come together to care for and refresh our church grounds and facilities this Sunday from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

There’ll be plenty of jobs for all ages and abilities — cleaning, gardening, tidying, maintenance, and more. Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole morning, every helping hand makes a difference!

It’s also a great chance to spend time together, serve alongside one another, and bless our church community.

Please bring along any helpful items such as:
• Gardening gloves
• Rakes or garden tools
• Cleaning supplies (if you have them)
• A willing heart 😊

This Sabbath we celebrate the faithful legacy of the Seventh-day Adventist movement in Australia — a story of courage, sacrifice, mission, and hope. As Ephesians 3:21 reminds us, all glory belongs to Christ, whose mission still calls us forward today.

AVS Avondale Ambassadors have just completed training at Pacific Adventist University.
Over the next few weeks we will introduce our ambassadors to you! Here we have our Avondale student representatives 💫 check them out

Church members connected to Adventist university communities will now have easier access to local and international volunteering opportunities. Adventist Volunteer Service (AVS) is expanding its campus-based Ambassadors initiative in 2026, with trained representatives serving at Avondale University, Pacific Adventist University (PAU) and Fulton Adventist University.

AVS Ambassadors function as a “mobile mission office” on campus, promoting volunteering pathways and supporting people who want to explore local service projects, short-term mission trips or longer-term placements. The ambassadors work alongside university leadership and campus churches and are expected to coordinate service-focused initiatives.
