We apologise for the Delay in our midweek Recap. Let's be reminded of his goodness and be encouraged to keep doing the Lords work faithfully.

Pastor touched base on the Spirit VS The flesh last week and encouraged us to not be led by your emotions but be led by the Spirit of God. He also touched on The things God detests, found in Proverbs 6:16-19
“There are six things the Lord hates— no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬-‭19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

These things cause trouble in our lives and makes us fall into sin. These are all things that are evil and we must turn away from them. Our emotions can get the best of us at times but we must remember, that the Spirit and Flesh are always up against each other. (Bible fact found in Galatians 5:17)

“Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬
The word teaches us the benefits of the Power of the Spirit and also teaches us the downfall of submitting to your sinful nature. Be aware and shift your Focus on to him.

Goodmorning CHOSEN PEOPLE! Happy Wednesday. Welcome to our midweek Recap of Last Sunday.

Pastor spoke about our minds, and how we should speak Life over our thoughts. (Read verse above). He also spoke on Jehoshphat in 2 Chronicles 20:1-7 and how God had already planned the Victory over their enemy. Verse 15 says “He said, “Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow, march out against them. You will find them coming up through the ascent of Ziz at the end of the valley that opens into the wilderness of Jeruel. But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you!””
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭20‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We are fighting the spiritual war right now and the Enemy doesn't want us to be close to God, so he comes through battles in our mind. Our Flesh is always going up against the Spirit and Spirit going against our flesh.

So remember, the battle is not yours, IT'S GOD's! He will fight for you! Put your hands on your head and declare the battle has already been won! All thoughts shall be taken captive and will Obey Christ!

Taeao Manuia Chosen Family. Trusting the Lord has prepared the day for you and that you are all safe and sound where ever you are.

Welcome to our Midweek ReCap. This is to remind us of his goodness and to reach you to help you and encourage you to keep living a holy life.
On Mother’s Day service last week we had our Beautiful sister and mama Charleen Lemauai bring the word of wisdom. An exceptional encouragement for everyone especially the women at every stage of life.

A Woman after Gods heart is a Virtuous woman set apart.
Proverbs 31:10

1. She fears God more than people
2. She values Obedience more than emotional comfort
3. She’s teachable, correctable, and humble before God
4. She’s prayerful in secret, not just vocal in public
5. She is faithful in small things and trusts God with the out comes

Becoming Her requires dying to parts of yourself. Your ego, your need to be right, your attachments to old habits. God will gently but firmly ask you to let go of things.
The proverbs 31 woman wasn’t built in a day, she became her over time, through decisions, through obedience, through seasons we don’t even see.
We compare our beginnings to Her finished picture, but that’s not fair on yourselves, because YOU are still in the process & YOU are still learning what it means to fully Trust God, to surrender your emotions and to walk in Discipline. God is not rushing you even if you feel like you’re behind.

Thank you for the word and for your Obedience to the Lord. Praise you Jesus for you are making a way for us!

Trusting that all is well with you on our FASTING WEDNESDAY ☺️ It’s time for our Midweek Reminders:

“Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭13‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

James 3:1-12 Verse 6 in particular,
“And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness so MM ex, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.”

Great word from our Assistant Pastor Aumua about the Power we hold in our tongues. It’s has Life & Death in it.
“His wife said to him, “Are you still trying to maintain your integrity? Curse God and die.” But Job replied, “You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.”
‭‭Job‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬
When Job lost everything, the one thing he needed most was encouragement, especially from his wife. What are you saying to the group you are surrounded by, are you uplifting and encouraging? Or are you bringing down and discouraging others.
Let’s build each other up and keep pushing each other to do Good and to be BETTER.

“Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.”
