Bayside Community Church

Bayside Community Church Bayside Community Church are people choosing to follow Jesus. We want to Build Community & Celebrate Life. www.baysidecc.com.au

We want to be a community known for a vibrant growing faith, where everyone is valued and our focus is bigger than ourselves. Bayside Community Church began with the express intention of serving the growing population in the areas surrounding the Sydney Olympic site and providing a fresh, relevant expression of the Christian faith, based on the teaching of Jesus. We are ordinary people from divers

e backgrounds, exploring what it means to live a life committed to loving God and loving others. So, connect with our Sunday gathering or other activities in the local area. There's an authentic welcome waiting and a place for you here! Bayside is affiliated with the Baptist Churches of NSW & ACT

As we journey toward Easter at Bayside, we will spend the month of March walking together through Jesus’ final actions and teachings in John’s Gospel. These chapters are powerful and deeply moving, and as we spend time with Jesus—watching how He loves, teaches, and serves—we are drawn into worship, our faith is renewed, and we are reminded of His steadfast love and promises.

As we prepare to celebrate this special season, lets engage deeply with the stories in John and invite others to share in the journey. May God fill our hearts together with the joy and hope that come from trusting in Him!

Today marks a National Day of Mourning for the victims of the Bondi Beach terrorist attack. We stand in love, peace, and friendship with the Jewish community across Australia and join together in mourning and remembrance.

As we remember today, we join in prayer for our nation.

Lord, we pray that in the midst of our heartbreak,
mourning, and grief
we would draw near to each other,
grounded in your love.
We pray that your light would shine in the darkness,
and that you would bring healing to our nation and world,
so all can live in freedom, dignity, and peace.
Lord, help us shine your light in our communities
and live out your inclusive love.
Amen. . .

The theme that the Chabad Community in Bondi have chosen for the National Day of Mourning is: 'Light will win, a gathering of unity and remembrance.'

To mark this moment of unity and remembrance, people are invited to light a candle tonight and, at 7:01PM AEDT, observe one minute of silence to honour those impacted by the Bondi Beach terrorist attack.
