Tis the Church Season of Pentecost
We celebrate the Holy Spirit who comes to us to strengthen our faith and courage to spread the good news about what Jesus has done for us.

This Sunday’s 10 am worship service at Colac Uniting Church will celebrate the role of the Holy Spirit in our Lives.

All are welcome to attend in person or watch on YouTube!

The Worship leader for 24 May 2026 is Pastor Phil Fischer who is visiting us from Kansas.
He was our minister here in Colac about 12-13 yrs ago
There will also be a shared lunch in our hall after worship where we can spend more quality time with Phil and Kathi !
All welcome

What an immense joy it is for Colac Uniting Church to unite in worship, laughter, and cherished memories with Phil and Kathi from Kansas, USA, who are sharing a precious week with us!
Here we are, lifting our voices in some sort of harmony, singing along to the iconic Kansas anthem (Home on the Range)', as we prepare for the grace and a delicious soup lunch that awaits us.
Phil, our beloved and dedicated former Supply Minister, who touched our lives around 2013-14, has brought so many happy memories.
He lives in Kansas but keeps regular contact with our congregation and regularly watches Colac Uniting Church’s live stream services.

May this reunion be filled with delight as they reconnect with old friends and forge new bonds.
We're thrilled to welcome them again next Sunday, May 24, for another vibrant Sunday worship service and fellowship over a meal.

Visiting Worship leader: Pastor Phil Fischer (from Kansas)

It’s “PENTECOST SUNDAY” - so please wear something red, yellow or orange to help us celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit!

Those at home, can have something red/flame coloured on hand that they can wave about during a special part of the worship.

A Fellowship lunch (casserole lunch) will be in the Welcome Centre after the worship service.

All are welcome to attend and worship and social time with Phil and Kathi. This is the last Sunday they are with us.

Jesus said he would not leave us alone and would send us a Comforter. Let the Spirit enfold you and comfort you and keep you until we are together again. Go in peace and bring the peace and fiery flames of Holy Spirit with you wherever you go. Amen.

Colac Uniting Church is now ready to help save lives as well as souls!

We’ve purchased and installed a new
CARDIAC DEFIBRILLATOR on an outside wall of our WELCOME CENTRE HALL (27 Hesse St Colac) that is ready for public to access 24/7!

Thanks to a grant from the ACCIONA MT GELLIBRAND WIND FARM !

Thanks also to STEVE TEVELIN
of COLAC FIRST AID TRAINING
for supply, installation, future support with instructions and maintenance advice and for registering this device with Ambulance Victoria!

Defibrillators can help save lives of people suffering a cardiac arrest

If you suspect someone is having a CARDIAC ARREST ( if a person has suddenly lost consciousness, and or does not have normal breathing or heart rate ) then phone 000 for ambulance advice and assistance.

The Ambulance Service will advise what to do and where the nearest Cardiac Defibrillator is and then how to access it and use it.

Our defibrillator is now available to the Colac public 24/7 by phoning 000 for Ambulance Victoria.
