Recently received a copy of the church newsletter from 1948! The couple it came from met and married at St Albans and enjoyed 69 years together! God has been at work on Merri-bek for a long time and he’s got plenty more planned for us!

We’re so excited to finally share our amazing wall mural! 🎨💛

This has been a long journey—from proposal, fundraising, planning, council permit… to seeing it all come together over the weekend. Standing in front of the finished mural feels so special!

Massive thank you to our talented mural artist - Wes for bringing the vision to life, to all our incredible church family, friends, and youth who cleaned the wall, painted, and gave up their time, special shout out to Jo and Roy with such dedication to paint the lines in brickwork, to everyone who supported us through fundraising!!! Your generosity truly made this possible. 🙌

We hope this brings a bit of joy, inspiration and reminder of God's community and creativity to everyone who sees it. Come check it out when you’re around! 💛
