GraceTree’s Love in Action week: THIS SUNDAY 10:30am - 12:30pm
For our Love in Action week at GraceTree this term, we are hosting a Birthing Kit Foundation packing day and we’d love you to join us!

The Birthing Kit Foundation (Australia) is a humanitarian organisation that provides birthing kits and education in clean birthing practices to women birthing at home in remote regions of the developing world.

We will be packing clean birthing kits together, with sterile items designed to support a safe delivery (plastic sheet, soap, gloves, string, scalpel and gauze). These will then be sent overseas to remote regions of over 30 countries.

Come to GraceTree from 10:30am-12:30pm @ 104 Nicholson Street in Coburg. Everyone is welcome and a delicious morning tea and hot drinks will be provided too.🫖☕️

GraceTree is proud to support the work of . Last Sunday we collected food to donate, as a part of our Harvest Thanksgiving service. As we thank God for the food we have grown and have access to, we are also reminded to care for those who aren’t as fortunate and to share what we have.

A bit about Nourishing Neighbours: It is a local food bank that provides a wide variety of culturally safe and appropriate food to those experiencing food insecurity in Moreland and surrounds. NN is 100% volunteer run and partners with major Victorian food relief and rescue agencies to provide its services. Clients have access to our online booking system where they are able to choose their own non-perishables, fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen meals, bread, toiletries and period products. https://www.nourishingneighbours.org.au

Yesterday we hosted our first House Gig at GraceTree and it was AMAZING!! There are some very talented and creative youth/young adults in Melbourne!!! 🎸🎤 We’ll be holding open mic gigs on the second Saturday of each month, from 4-7pm. If you’re aged between 14-25’ish, we’d LOVE to have you along, to perform or just listen and enjoy. Any creative act is welcome (song, dance, poetry, comedy…). The next House Gig will be on Saturday 9th May. Hope to see you then!
