CURIOUS ABOUT JESUS?

- Maybe you believe in God but still have questions?
- Maybe you’ve been around church before, but you’re not really sure what you believe?
- Maybe Christianity is completely new to you?

Well there’s good news! 321 is a simple, relaxed 4-session course designed to help you explore who Jesus is and how He sees God, the world and us.

Through short videos, thoughtful questions and open conversation, we’ll look at some of life’s biggest questions together, in a friendly, welcoming environment where you don’t need to have all the answers.

No pressure. No expectation to know the Bible. Just an opportunity to come, listen, ask questions and learn more about Jesus.

We would like to invite you to our 321 course. The course consists of 4 sessions, presented by Glen Scrivener to show us life the way Jesus sees it through interactive videos, helping us better understand God, the world and ourselves.

You can begin 321 and hear more by contacting one of our church leaders. Engage in thoughtful conversation in a small group, hosted in a welcoming environment where you can interact with the videos, share your thoughts and experiences with others. A great step in your faith journey.

TRUST IN GOD. ALWAYS.

“It will be a sign and a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt. When they cry to the Lord because of oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and deliver them.”
Isaiah 19:20

Isaiah 19–20 reminds us how quickly the things of this world that seem powerful and secure can fail us.

People fail.
Plans change.
Circumstances shift.
The things we thought were secure can disappear.

But God does not change.

When we are afraid, uncertain or overwhelmed, our answer isn’t to place more trust in the world around us! It’s to turn our eyes back to the Lord.

He is sovereign.
He is faithful.
He is our Saviour and Deliverer.

Whatever this week brings, trust in God always. ✝️

This Sunday evening we continue through 1 Peter 2:11–20, looking at what it means to live differently as God’s people, not simply in what we believe, but in the way we conduct ourselves in the world around us.

Come along as we open God’s Word, worship together and enjoy fellowship and a light supper afterwards.

What are you putting your trust in?

This Sunday morning we continue through the book of Isaiah focusing on chapters 19–20: “Don’t Trust the World.”

The things of this world can make us feel secure in our plans, possessions, success, people and even ourselves. God calls us to something far greater: to know Him and put our trust in Him.

Remember the God who CREATED you, remember the God who SAVES too.

“In that day people will look to their Maker and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah 17:7

Isaiah 17 gives us such a simple but powerful reminder: don’t forget God.

It’s so easy to become caught up in life, to rely on our own strength, or to place our hope in the things around us. But God calls us to turn our eyes back to Him.

• Remember your Maker.
The God who created you, knows you and gives you purpose.

• Remember your Saviour.
The God who loves you, showed mercy to you and made a way for you through Jesus Christ. When everything else changes, He remains the same.

“For you have forgotten the God of your salvation and have not remembered the Rock of your refuge; therefore, though you plant pleasant plants and sow the vine-branch of a stranger,”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭17‬:‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Whatever this week holds, may we not forget the One our hope is found in.

Turn your eyes to your Maker. Remember the God who saves. ✝️
