Can’t make it to our morning service? Join us this Sunday evening in Tallarook as we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark.

This week’s message from Mark 14:53–72 follows Jesus through His trial before the Sanhedrin and Peter’s denial, a powerful passage that reminds us of both the faithfulness of Christ and the weakness of man.

Saved by grace.

Not earned. Not deserved. Not achieved through our own efforts.

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us… made us alive together with Christ, by grace you have been saved.” (Ephesians 2:4–5)

The Christian life begins and ends with God’s grace. Our hope is not in what we have done for Him, but in what Christ has done for us.

What a reason to give thanks today!

It’s easy to get caught up in the challenges, distractions, and uncertainties of life. Paul’s prayer reminds us that what we need most isn’t better circumstances, but spiritual illumination.

When God opens the eyes of our hearts, we begin to see the hope we’ve been called to, the incredible inheritance we have in Christ, and the richness of being part of God’s family.

Today, take a moment to pray for spiritual clarity. There is far more ahead than what is in front of you right now!

How often do we stop and truly count our blessings..?

In Ephesians 1:1-14, Paul reminds us of the incredible blessings we have in Christ. We have been chosen, adopted into God’s family, redeemed through His blood, forgiven of our sins, and given the promise of an eternal inheritance.

It’s easy to focus on what we lack, the challenges we face, or the things we wish were different. But today, let’s take a moment to reflect on all that God has already given us. Every good gift comes from Him, and the greatest gift of all is salvation through Jesus Christ.

May our hearts be filled with gratitude as we remember His goodness, His grace, and His faithfulness.

What blessings can you thank God for today?
