A friendly reminder that it is 1st Sunday of the month & Mass in Clifton will be 7.30am on Sunday morning 6th September.

Here's last weekend's Parish Bulletin [ 23rd August 2026]
It was a big weekend for some of our younger parishioners... Friday night with Bishop Ken Howell conferring the sacrament of Confirmation & then Sunday morning receiving Eucharist for the 1st time.
Also this Sunday night 30th August, our parish is hosting the usual 5th Sunday Ecumenical service commencing at 5.30pm. Please join us & please bring a plate to share.

Here's last week's Parish Bulletin.[16 August 2026]
Don't forget Bishop Ken is visiting our parish tomorrow ( Friday 21st) to confirm 10 youngsters.
The Confirmation service begins at 5pm and DOES NOT include Eucharist. First Communion for these young people will be held on Sunday morning at 9.30am Mass.
After the Confirmation service parishioners are welcome to join Bishop Ken Howell & Fr Warren for a meal at the Irish Pub in Clifton.

Are you doing anything on Thursday 20th August at lunchtime?
How about supporting the Clifton Anglican Church?
They have their annual Winter Warmers Soup Luncheon happening from 11.30am. Why don't you get a friend or three to have lunch together at the Clifton Anglican Hall? Only $15 and you can try a variety of delicious soups...have a "luverly" cuppa and some sweet treats to finish off.
Funds raised go to support the good works of the Anglican Guild.

Here's last weekend's Parish Bulletin (9th August 2026).

Special notification: As the Church is still undergoing roof replacement Mass for the Feast of the Assumption on Saturday August 15 will be hosted by the Cambooya-Greenmount Parish at Cambooya at 9am.
If anyone would like a lift to Cambooya on Saturday morning be at the Clifton Catholic Church by 8.25am. Cars leave at 8.30am.

The re-roofing work on St James & St John's Catholic Church has begun. (The hailstorm that hammered Clifton occurred back on Nov. 1 2025). It is not an easy task working at that height, slope and clambering over an old wooden roof. Even the scaffolding is impressive! The Presbytery has been completed... it was done over the last 10 days or so.

Mass this weekend in Clifton is at 7pm on Saturday.
Re-roofing of the Church has commenced... the Presbytery roof has been completed. Photos to come.

Here's the Parish Bulletin for last Sunday [26July '26].

Church now covered in scaffolding. No weekday Masses (ie Monday & Friday) until further notice. Weekend Mass is on this Sunday 2nd July in Clifton at 7.30am (It's 1st Sunday)
