𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 🎳
Tonight our Connected Youth had a social outing and went bowling and even some of the parents had a go. It was so great to see the young people have fun while consolidating various skills from gradually improving their bowl, making new friends and learning bowling jargon. There were high fives and smiles all round, safe to say they had a ball!

Connected Youth enjoyed another great session on Friday night learning about the three Pillars of Lent: Prayer, Fasting and Almsgiving. These Lenten disciplines allow us to serve and care for others. When we live for others, we become more conformed to Christ.

Our next Connected Youth Group is 6-8pm Friday 28 April, 2023 at Star of the Sea Parish Hall for ages 8-16. Come along and learn more about the Faith, make new Friends and eat yummy Food. New members welcome!

Last Friday, the Parish officially launched Connected Youth for 2023. Over 20 young people came along to our first youth group. They enjoyed eating Fish N Chips, played lots of games, heard sharing's from Sam and Deacon Gerard, and were led in some praise and worship music by the youth leaders. A fun night was had by all. Come along to our next one on Friday 24 March, and bring some friends along too!😍🥳🙏✝️

Young people aged between 8 - 16 are invited to join Star of the Sea Catholic parish for our annual Launch Night! Launch is an opportunity to have some free food and drinks, meet fun people, play some games, listen to some live music and have a great time! Youth Launch Night will happen on Friday the 24th of February from 7 - 9pm, can't wait to see you there! 🤩🥳👍

Last weeks session was a lot of fun! We had Father Rony talk to the youth about the Fruits of the Holy Spirit and why its important we practice them. Our next gathering will be held on Friday the 13th of May from 6pm - 8pm at Star of the Sea Catholic Parish in the hall. Hope to see you there! 😍✝️👍

Hey guys, I've just started as the youth coordinator at Star of the Sea Catholic Parish Cleveland and I'm super excited to meet the youth in this community! Come and say hi if you see me around. 😀🤙

Meet: 𝗦𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘀𝗲!💥

Sam is the new youth coordinator for Star of the Sea Parish! Welcome to the crew, Sam 😎 And a fun fact about him is that he is from Adelaide!

Sam is aware of how crucial relationship is, so he is currently focusing on immersing himself in the community by attending Masses to get to know parishioners and young people better. He is also hoping to start gathering YA’s in the area for fellowship, and also seeing if they’d be interested in being leaders.

They are launching Connected Youth (youth group for ages 10-15) TOMORROW! So exciting! ⚡️

A goal of Sam’s is to also launch a high-school specific youth group, and is keen to start Alpha sometime in the future!
