A timely message from Pst Joe Nawai based on Revelation 2:1–7.

"It's good to come and do everything we can for the church, but how is our relationship with the God of the church?"

The church in Ephesus was recognised for their hard work, perseverance and commitment. They served faithfully and stood firm in truth, yet Jesus reminded them that they had left their first love.

We were encouraged to pause and examine our own hearts. Are we serving God out of love or simply out of routine? Are we making time to know Him personally or are we so busy doing the work of God that we've neglected our relationship with the God of the work?

May we never allow ministry, busyness or routine to replace intimacy with Christ.

"Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works." Revelation 2:5 ❤️

Today we were blessed to have been invited to minister at Pentecost 26 It was a joy to witness the moving of the Holy Spirit among believers across Sydney and to see hearts united in worship and prayer.

God is doing a new thing amongst His people, drawing people closer to Him and stirring a fresh passion for His Kingdom. To Him be all the glory! 🙌🔥
