When four Cherbourg women, saw the need of their families, friends and community. With many falling into a state of confusion, fear and uncertainty, we wanted to encourage, uplift and bring hope to those dearest to our hearts. As everyone was on lockdown, church fellowship ceased and restrictions introduced into our nation, we gathered together and formed a Yarning Circle where we would sit at the

dinner table, have fellowship, prayer and bible study, while allowing people to connect with us and tune in live via Facebook. After receiving a lot of good feedback about lives and hearts being touched, we receive the blessing of our Pastors at City Reach Church Townsville, and we became Mothers Heart Ministry. Since then MHM have been a light in community in which our ministry is mainly based in the small indigenous community of Cherbourg, which is three hours North West of Brisbane, Qld. Mothers Heart Ministry was given by revelation when our sister Deborah, went on her first mission trip back to Cherbourg in 2017. In preparation and prayer for community, she noticed that there were no men present on this trip and asked the Lord 'Why is there all women"? The Lord replied and said "The community are in need of mothers". Mothers Heart Ministry represents the love of a mother. She protects and cares for her children. She nurtures and comforts. A mother teaches her children and speaks words of wisdom. She carries the burden of her family and when they hurt, she hurts. Her love is a sacrificial love that never thinks of herself but always puts the needs of her family before her own. She speaks up for her family and stands up for what's right, to ensure that justice is done by her children. We believe that we are in a time and season where God is raising up spiritual mothers to our nation. Mothers that will carry our nation into the blessings of God. Here at MHM, we share the love of Christ by offering our support to men, women and children from all different walks of life, to ease the pressures of lifes challenges. We are all on this journey called life together and just as it is God's will that none perish, Mothers Heart Ministry says that no one gets left behind.
