Jewish genetic testing is a specialized screening process for individuals with Jewish ancestry—particularly Ashkenazi—to identify higher carrier rates for hereditary conditions like Tay-Sachs, Gaucher, and Canavan diseases. It is used for preconception planning and to identify increased cancer risks.
