God bless our Parish School!

We warmly invite our parents, families and friends to join us for Parish Mass.
With our move to fortnightly assemblies, our school will now attend Parish Mass on Fridays (instead of Thursdays), and we would love to share this time of prayer and worship with our wider community.
This week, our Kinder and Year 6 students will be attending, and we especially invite their families to come along and celebrate with them.
Celebrating the Eucharist together strengthens our faith and our sense of belonging as one parish family. Everyone is most welcome — we hope you can join us.

Upcoming Event at MacKillop Parish!

Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary has been of great importance to the faith of Catholics since the beginning. However, for many Catholics, devotion to Mary and belief in the four Marian Dogmas can be a source of uncertainty and confusion. They simply do not understand why the Church teaches what She teaches about Mary.

Similarly, Marian beliefs have not just been
source of uncertainty or confusion for Catholics, but for our Christian brothers and sisters also. Mary is perhaps one of the greatest obstacles to the Catholic faith for our Protestant brothers and sisters.

This course will seek to eliminate the uncertainty for Catholics and the objections nat come from Protestants.

Behold Your Mother will explain and defend the four dogmas of Mary from a biblical and historical perspective.

This course will give clear reasons why
Catholics believe Mary is:
• The Mother of God
• The Immaculate Conception
• Perpetual Virgin
• Assumed body and soul into heaven
and much more!

After the success of last year, the Resurrection Party will be held after the Easter Vigil on Saturday, 4 April. It will commence at approximately 9:00pm in the Function Room of St Mary of the Cross Parish Hub Charlestown. Please bring a plate to share and celebrate!
