Outback Patrol

Outback Patrol Outback Patrol aims to meet the human, emotional, and spiritual needs of families living in 55 of the most remote and isolated town-ships inland Australia

About Outback Patrol? The goal of Outback Patrol is to try to meet some of the human, emotional, and spiritual needs of families who live in 55 of the most remote and isolated town-ships inland. These are the people who struggle against the ravages of floods, drought and isolation and the disadvantages of remoteness. Our volunteer evangelists go to the people who live in towns that are too small for a church, but too big to overlook. We say, 'Don't back out on the Outback.'

Hi everyone
The Katherine Christian Convention has now come to a close. What a great experience we had. I’ve never seen an event like this one. Thanks to Jono Wright for his great teaching. Another big thanks to all the organisers who put the event together. We made lots of valuable connections with people from other organisations from all over. I’m so excited about this.
Lots of opportunity to come.

Hi Everyone
When you wake up in the morning you never know what’s going to happen or who you’re going to meet. Whilst on route from Boulia Queensland to Tennant Creek Northern Territory a last-minute opportunity came up to divert to Warrabri and meet up with Steve Grace. He gave us some great contacts.
It seemed like we’d known each other for years.
What a great guy.

Hi everyone
Just letting you know Leeza and I are on our way to the Katherine Christian convention. We left Newcastle yesterday morning and overnighted in Birdsville and we are now on our way to Katherine via Boulia and Tennant Creek. We have some contacts established up there which we are looking forward to meeting. On our way back will be coming via Alice Springs where we will be meeting with several church leaders there to establish some contacts for future patrols out of Alice Springs.
Will keep you posted along the way. Would certainly appreciate your prayers.
Talk soon
Phil

Hi everyone

Just letting you know it’s looking more and more likely we will be back in the air in term 2 for NSW and Queensland schools. We’ve already started booking performers and planning itineraries. If only you knew how glad I am and how excited I am to get back to what Outback Patrol is all about. And that is to build relationships and share the gospel with people in our outback.
What an answer prayer
Wahoo !!!!!!

Expect to see our summer newsletter due out at the end of the month. We’ll give you a more detailed insight into what has been happening and what we are planning.

Your prayers and support are so much appreciated

Phil
