This message will be shared by Camilo Junca-Leon, Beit HaMashiach's Cantor and Rabbi's Assistant. Discipline and correction are words that are all but disappearing in contemporary society. A society that erases these words does not become kinder, it loses the ability to hear when it is being called back to order. Parashat Ki Tavo reminds us why they are necessary for eternal life.
A key Scripture is Hebrews 12:5 - "Have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by Him".
