Another wonderful time of worship, fellowship, and encouragement together at CBC on Sunday.

We continued our journey through Joshua, looking at Joshua 5:13–6:20 and the fall of Jericho. Through this passage we were reminded that victory comes not through our own strength or abilities, but through trusting God, obeying His Word, and following His leading.

“See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands...” — Joshua 6:2

Have you ever faced a situation that seemed impossible?

This week at Casino Baptist Church we looked at Joshua 3–5 and discovered what it means to Trust in the God Who Acts. As God led Israel through the Jordan River and into the Promised Land, He showed His faithfulness, power, and commitment to His promises.

The same God is at work today, calling us to trust Him in the challenges and opportunities we face.

Today at Casino Baptist Church we continued in Psalm 103, reflecting on what we called “God’s Catalogue.”

While the world constantly offers a catalogue of things to chase, Psalm 103 reminds us of the far greater gifts God gives His people: forgiveness, healing, salvation, renewal, and contentment.

“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” — Psalm 103:2

As we explored these blessings, we were challenged to live with thankful hearts — not pursuing temporary worldly satisfaction, but resting in the goodness and grace of God. We were also reminded that these blessings are not meant to be kept to ourselves, but shared with others through our words and actions, pointing people to God’s Word — the greatest book ever given.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums and mother figures in our community.

Today at Casino Baptist Church we looked at Psalm 90. Life moves quickly, and this Psalm reminds us that our days are limited and precious. In today’s message, we reflected on what it means to live wisely, make the most of the time God has given us, and build our lives on what truly lasts.

As Moses contrasts God’s eternal nature with the brevity of human life, we are challenged to number our days and seek wisdom that leads to purposeful living and deeper dependence on God.

What another wonderful morning of fellowship at Casino Baptist Church. Today we continued in our series by looking at Psalm 77. Here is a brief overview:

Today at church, we looked into Psalm 46 titled - “How Do We Do That?”

We reflected on what it really looks like to come and see, to be still, and to know that He is God—and how to live that out in the middle of busy and uncertain lives. It was a great reminder of how we can anchor ourselves in God’s presence and trust Him.
