This Family Fun Day (Hosted by the National Salvos Children’s Team) at the Hobart Zoo & Acquarium is coming up this weekend and we’d love to invite you to come along and join us along with our neighbouring Salvo friends in Southern Tassie!

📢 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝘆 – 𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀

The Tasmanian Government is undertaking a Neighbourhood House Needs Analysis to better understand the demands on Neighbourhood Houses and identify the long-term sustainability needs of the network.

As part of this process, a community survey is now open and all members of the Tasmanian community are encouraged to participate, including:

✅ Community members and volunteers
✅ People who use Neighbourhood Houses
✅ Local councils
✅ Community organisations
✅ Government staff
✅ Anyone interested in their local community

The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and will help inform the future of Neighbourhood Houses across Tasmania.

Shout out to this amazing human we have the privilege of working alongside each week.
Alex started off as a leader with us for Youth Matters and has recently taken on the position as a Chaplain at Sorell School!
We are so so proud of the person he is, his natural ability to connect with young people of all ages and the quiet authentic presence he carries.
You’re amazing Alex and on behalf of us, the YM Team and the young people you connect with week in, week out this recognition is so well deserved. Keep being you! 🙌🏼 ♥️

Fantastic effort by Midway Point Neighbourhood House! What a generous community! 💛💙

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and supported our Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea! ☕💛

We had an amazing day filled with wonderful people from our community, lots of laughs, great conversations, and delicious food. A special thank you to everyone who brought along a scrumptious plate to share! 🧁🥪
Together, we initially raised an awesome $425 for Cancer Council Australia, and we’re excited to share that the total has now been updated to $500! 🎉

With Janet Gatehouse Sorell Mayor as referee this year, I challenge Shannon Campbell - Labor for Lyons to join me in taking another dip in the icy ocean for our local South East Salvos Red Shield Appeal!

🎯 Our Target: $500 each!
✅ FIRST person to $500 gets to go in the water second! 🙌🏼

I also have it on good authority that IF we can hit our total target of $1,000, Craig and Jess will also join us for the plunge! 🌊
