Mark, along with his wife Jemima and a growing team of passionate pastors and strategic leaders across multiple nations, is leading Kingdomcity’s expansion into a global movement with seeds on every continent — in first-world and developing world settings.

His journey began in 2003 when he left his legal career to pursue full-time ministry in a local church in Perth, Australia.

In 2005, he had a personal encounter with God in what he describes as “his burning bush” experience. In response to what he believed God told him, he left Australia, bought a one-way ticket to Malaysia, and planted what is now Kingdomcity, in April 2006.

We're excited to have Banning Liebscher join us for INC Conference 2026 | International!

Banning Liebscher is the founding Pastor of Jesus Culture, a ministry of worship, events, and leadership development. In 2014, Banning and his wife SeaJay, their family, and the Jesus Culture team planted Jesus Culture Sacramento, a church committed to seeing believers encounter God, be empowered as world changers, and engage their city as leaders. Banning is the author of four books, the latest one being, The Three-Mile Walk: The Courage You Need to Live the Life God Wants for You. Banning and his wife have three children.
