This ANZAC Day, despite the rain, our band and timbrels joined with others across the community, taking part in marches and services in Tarragindi, Greenslopes and the City as we honoured those who served for our freedom.

We also had the privilege of supporting local schools, playing The Last Post and taking part in their ANZAC commemorations during the week.

We are open for Emergency Relief this morning at Carindale Salvos. If you are without power and need a place to sit, have a cuppa and recharge your phone, you are welcome to come down and hang out for as long as you need to.

I hope you’ve woken up with power this morning! We’ve weathered the worst of the wind and now we wait out the rain. Thanks to our Amazing SAES volunteers who will be feeding people again today. Stay safe!
