OFFICIAL NEWS UPDATE

Mahasandhi Centre in Perth is deeply honoured to share the official wrap-up of the sacred spiritual visit of His Holiness Gangteng Truelku Rinpoche to Australia from 3 April to 24 May 2026.

Throughout this immensely auspicious journey, His Holiness compassionately bestowed countless profound teachings, empowerments, oral transmissions, blessings, and spiritual activities across Australia for the benefit of all sentient beings. Among the major sacred events were the 14-day Dzogchen Retreat in Perth personally led by Rinpoche, the Soen-Bum Wang bestowed for devotees in Perth, Brisbane, and Canberra, the Kurukulle Wang in Melbourne, the Oral Transmission of Dzogchen Ngondro, together with many other precious Dharma activities and blessings.

In a particularly extraordinary and historic gesture of compassion and blessing, His Holiness graciously gifted Mahasandhi Centre in Perth with a sacred Buddha Relic to be enshrined as one of the Centre’s holy Nangten (sacred objects). This precious and rare relic symbolizes the enlightened body, speech, and mind of the Buddha and stands as a source of immense merit, devotion, and spiritual inspiration for present and future generations.

Upon prior approval from His Holiness Rinpoche, the sacred Buddha Relic will be displayed occasionally once or twice a year, during which devotees and the wider community will have the precious opportunity to offer prayers, make aspirations, and receive blessings before the holy relic.

Mahasandhi Centre Perth humbly expresses its deepest gratitude to His Holiness Gangteng Tulku Rinpoche for his boundless compassion, blessings, and unwavering guidance bestowed upon the Dharma community in Australia.

DZOGCHEN NGONDRO TEACHING

Coinciding with the auspicious Duechen Ngazom on 31 May 2026 (Sunday), the monthly gathering of Mahasandhi Centre in Perth will be held, followed by detailed teachings on Dzogchen Kuenzang Gongdue Ngondro (Preliminary Practices) by the Resident Lam.

All new practitioners who wish to begin Ngondro practice or participate in future Dzogchen retreats are cordially invited to attend.
