Last Saturday a local trip to the National Botanics. Nice lunch first at the Pollen Cafe. Great weather. A couple left early to see the Australian Rules Final!!

On 2 March CSU organised their traditional visit to the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. We hired a bus, with 20+ students headed out for a BBQ and then a tour of the reserve. Our tour included short walks and a visit past huge boulders to vantage points with a panoramic view of this special place. Special thanks to Peter Dowley who drove our hired bus.
The weather was great, the food was superb (thanks Maree and Margaret). A great way to begin a new year at ANU and for people to mix and make new friends.

CSU supports this march in support of our being kind to the environment.

Uniting Church members are invited to join this mass rally calling for an end to reliance on fossil fuels. The UCA group will be assembling in Federation Mall between Old and New Parliament House near the coffee carts at 11:30AM. Paul will be attending.

It was sad to farewell dear friends Andree and Yuaana as they return to Indonesia. Andree will complete his PhD write up at home. Young son Thaddie whose company we have loved these past years is hidden in the photo - but watching carefully the thick icing as he anticipates his piece of cake! Our Minister gave a final farewell blessing to them.

It was a special day at Canberra City Uniting Church as we witnessed and supported the baptism of two of our CSU members, Jennifer Gamble and Bernard Lao. God bless you both.
