What can God do in six weeks?

Six weeks of intentional time with Jesus.
Six weeks in His Word.
Six weeks of prayer, community and mission.

Perhaps this is an opportunity worth praying about.

👇 If you could spend six weeks focusing on one area of your spiritual life, what would it be?

What does it mean to be grounded?

Based on the verse found in Colossians 2:7, we’ll be taking a journey over the next year as a church community to discover how our foundation in Christ impacts everything we do.

You’re welcome to join us every Saturday from 10am to learn about how building a foundation in Christ can grow a fruitful and joy-filled life!

The Bible models discipleship through relationships. Joshua learned from Moses, Elisha from Elijah, and Timothy from Paul—faith being nurtured as one generation intentionally mentors the next.
Think about your journey of faith.

Who first helped you know Jesus?

A parent?
A school teacher?
A Pathfinder leader?
A pastor?
A friend?

Take a moment today to thank that person.

Then ask yourself:

Who is God inviting me to encourage next?

Come Follow Jesus.
Be Solid. Live the Mission. Make Disciples.

Peter was a fisherman.
Matthew was a tax collector.
Mary Magdalene had a broken past.

Yet Jesus saw people willing to follow Him.
Jesus accepted ordinary people whose greatest qualification was their willingness to follow Him. Their availability, more than their ability, allowed Him to shape their lives. By simply saying "yes" to His invitation, they became light-bearers of a movement that continues today.
God isn't looking for perfect people.
He's looking for willing people.

"My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness." — 2 Corinthians 12:9

Come Follow Jesus.
Be Solid. Live the Mission. Make Disciples.

If SOLID Discipleship School coordinator, Pastor Huston Ford, could describe the heart behind the school in just three words, they would be these:

Mission.
Mission.
Mission.

Jesus told His followers, "Go and make disciples..."

Those words are still the mission of every believer.
It’s helping people become lifelong followers of Jesus. Introducing them to Christ, encouraging them to walk with Him, learn from His teachings, and grow to reflect His character. It is a lifelong journey of relationship, transformation, and faithful obedience rather than simply gaining knowledge or joining a church.

Would you pray for the SOLID Discipleship School this week?

"The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few." — Matthew 9:37

When Jesus said, "Follow Me," He wasn't inviting people to simply believe a set of ideas.

He was inviting them into a completely new way of living.

To walk with Him.
To learn from Him.
To become like Him.
Walking with Jesus means developing a daily relationship with Him through prayer and Scripture, seeking His guidance in our decisions, recognising His presence in everyday life, trusting Him in uncertainty, and viewing each day as an opportunity to partner with God rather than simply complete tasks.

Discipleship has never been about knowing more information. It's about knowing Jesus more deeply.

"Whoever claims to live in Him must live as Jesus did." — 1 John 2:6

How is Jesus inviting you to follow Him today?

Come Follow Jesus.
Be Solid. Live the Mission. Make Disciples.
