Hear how God handpicked Abram, along with his entire household, to pour out His favour and blessing upon their lives. By changing his name from Abram to Abraham, God did more than rename him; He bestowed upon him a new identity. But this blessing was never meant to stop with him—it was a call to be a conduit of God’s grace to the rest of the world.

In the same way, our purpose today is simple: we have been blessed, so that we might become a blessing to others.

Come along to Gungahlin Uniting Church on Sunday 7 June at 9.30 am to hear more about this remarkable story and what it means for us today.

Join us on Sunday 17 May at 9.30 am as Rev Hugh Park speaks on the topic “In the World, Not of the World".

In the sacred quiet of His final hour, he knew that living in this world can be very hard for us. That is why he prayed for our protection and asked God to keep us united as one, helping us stay strong even when life is difficult.

Based on John 17:1-11.
