We are delighted and honoured to welcome His Excellency Vasyl Myroshnychenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia and New Zealand, as our guest speaker. He’ll speak on, “The Light Shines in the Darkness: Ukraine’s Hope for Tomorrow”

9th Canberra Girls' Brigade is inviting grandmas, mums, and aunties to attend with their granddaughters, daughters, or nieces (in kindy to year 12) for a shared painting event at Girls' Brigade.

Whether you are a grandma-and-granddaughter duo or even a family trio, come and create a “masterpiece” together, bonding over a casual night of painting with tea and coffee and light supper. 🎨

St Andrews Youth begins the conversation tonight, as they start Alpha Youth ~ a fun, informative & relaxed way to explore some of the bigger questions of life.

All students in high school and college (Yr 7 -12) are welcome to join them on this journey, as they learn more about the Christian faith together.

A reminder that there will be disruptions to the roads tomorrow morning, due to the Canberra Times Marathon. To avoid the traffic, we encourage you to visit one of our other services tomorrow.

📍10am at Belconnen Presbyterian Church (Ross Smith Cres, Scullin)
📍10am at Weston Creek Presbyterian Church, (Cooleman Court, Weston)
📍5pm at Church@5, St Andrew’s

Our 9:30am service will be live-streamed thorugh the following link; https://youtube.com/live/Cl_AdS7vpdU?feature=share

If you wish to attend our 9:30am service in person, arrive before 8:15am to be directed to our car park from State Circle (north bound) under the control of traffic management. Delays possibly up to half an hour as marathon runners pass.

If you are arriving after 8:15am we advise parking in side streets and walking to St Andrew's.

Grab your runners Canberra, The Canberra Times Marathon Festival 2026 is on this weekend! 🏃👟

Significant road closures and traffic detours will be in place across central Canberra on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 April for the festival. Key roads impacted include Kings Avenue, Parkes Way and Anzac Parade on the Sunday.

Bus services will be operating on altered routes with some stops closed or relocated. Passengers should allow for extra travel time and are encouraged to check updated timetables before travelling: https://www.transport.act.gov.au/

If driving is required, expect delays and limited parking around the Parliamentary Triangle and surrounding suburbs including, Yarralumla, Campbell, Forrest and Barton.

Join us for the second St Andrew’s Men’s Breakfast of 2026 on Saturday 18 April. Come hungry for a great brekkie and a good word! Our new Senior Minister, Rev Michael Boyd, who commenced with us in March, will share his life story, family background, career, and faith journey.
