🏗️ Update on the New Gurdwara Sahib Building Project
A few years ago, the vision of a new Gurdwara Sahib building was still just a dream in the hearts of the Sangat.
Today, by Guru Sahib’s kirpa, Ardas, seva and the collective support of the Sangat, that vision is steadily becoming a reality.
And honestly… even after all the milestones achieved so far, it still feels humbling to witness the journey unfold step by step.
What started with discussions, planning and uncertainty has now progressed into real construction on Guru Sahib’s land — built through the dedication of Sewadars, volunteers, professionals, donors and the wider Sangat.
This project has never been about one individual. It has always been about collective seva, unity and the shared commitment of the Sangat toward building a home for future generations.
And because transparency, accountability and responsible stewardship of Sangat funds matter, here is a small snapshot of the progress achieved so far 👇

✅ Major excavation and site preparation works completed
✅ Retaining wall construction completed
✅ Engineering designs and approvals secured
✅ Full Building Approval obtained
✅ Foundation and slab preparation works commenced
✅ Ongoing engagement with engineers, consultants, trades, contractors and financial institutions
✅ Continuous fundraising and donation drives supported by Sangat locally and interstate
✅ Regular project, seva and donation updates shared with the Sangat
✅ Countless volunteer hours contributed through meetings, approvals, planning discussions, emails, site inspections and physical seva at the construction site
✅ Ongoing efforts to ensure works are completed in a financially responsible and sustainable manner, helping save substantial costs for Guru Ghar through volunteer contributions, staged planning and careful financial management
Over the past months and years, Sewadars and volunteers have dedicated countless hours towards project coordination, review of approvals, consultation meetings, compliance requirements, documentation, fundraising efforts and on-site seva to help move the project forward positively.
But beyond the construction milestones, this journey has always been about people.

There is still much work ahead, but with Guru Sahib’s blessings and the continued support of the Sangat, we will continue moving forward together — step by step, brick by brick, seva by seva.
