On this feast of Corpus Christi, we honour the mystery at the heart of our faith:

Today we honour Saint Catherine of Siena, Doctor of the Church, reformer, peacemaker, mystic, and radiant witness to Christ’s transforming love.

Her life reminds us that holiness is possible for every baptised person—no matter our state in life—when we surrender ourselves completely to Jesus.

“Be who God meant you to be, and you will set the world on fire.”

May her intercession ignite in us the same courage, charity, and love for the Church.

Today we honour Saint Peter Chanel, the Protomartyr of Oceania and beloved patron of our St Peter Chanel Mass Centre in Yarralumla.

A Marist priest and missionary, St Peter Chanel brought the Gospel to the people of Futuna with extraordinary gentleness, patience, and love. His martyrdom became the seed of faith for the island, which fully converted to Christ soon after his death.

Through his intercession, may our parish continue to grow in missionary zeal, courage, and charity.

Each year, we have the honour of welcoming the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and the Sovereign Military and Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta as they join us for a beautiful procession into Mass.
