We share hospitality with those who are single, married, divorced, widowed, LGBTIQ +, rich or poor. St Columba’s Uniting Church, Braddon, is a congregation in central Canberra, on the corner of Fawkner and Farrer Streets, Braddon. Traditional worship services are held every Sunday morning at 10 am, followed by morning tea. The congregation focuses on pastoral support and care and connecting people

in the local community. History:

Presbyterians in Canberra established a Home Mission Station in 1925. Two years later the Church Hall at Braddon was opened and the Rev. Dr. John Walker inducted. In May 1945 the Canberra Parish was divided into two, St. Andrews and Braddon, and Braddon was given the name St. Columba’s in 1950. The present church of St. Columba’s was opened in 1961.
