❤️ Become a Lifesaver Hero | Learning to Save Lives

Alhamdulillah, around 30 members of our community joined our first AIMA Lifesavers Program at Masjid Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, learning CPR, AED and choking management.

It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged — practising, asking questions and eager to learn.

Practical knowledge that empowers us to respond with confidence — and potentially save a life. ❤️

Our sincere thanks to Australian Islamic Medical Association - AIMA , Grampians Health , Ambulance Victoria , our volunteers and everyone who joined us.

🤲 May Allah reward everyone involved and make this knowledge a means of saving a life.

🌿 Stronger & Safer Communities

The Islamic Society of Ballarat Inc. in collaboration with the Ballarat Regional Multicultural Council - BRMC helped bring the Stronger & Safer Communities event to the local Muslim women’s community.

🤝 Strong communities are built through connection, education, trust and collaboration. The event provided an opportunity for community members and local services to come together with a shared purpose of building safer, stronger communities and respectful families.

A sincere thank you to BRMC, Hee Young LIM, Harvinder Jain, the participating local service providers, the Australian Muslim Women’s Centre for Human Rights, and all the community members who contributed to making the day meaningful. 💐

🫱🏻‍🫲🏼Preston Mosque, Merciful Group and The Strangers Studio have come together to build an Orphan Family Home in Yemen that will provide safe accommodation for orphaned families in need.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“I and the one who looks after an orphan will be like this in Paradise,” and he held his index and middle fingers together.
- Sahih al-Bukhari (5304, 6005)

• 🏠 4 residential family units
• 👧👦 Supporting 20 orphans and widows
• 📍 Zinjibar, Abyan Governorate, Yemen
• 💰 Total Project Cost: $75,000
• ✅ 100% Tax Deductible
• 🌿 100% Sadaqah Jāriyah

✨ Eid Al-Adha Henna Night ✨

Alhamdulillah, we had such a beautiful evening together at our Sisters’ Henna Night 🫶🏻

From chai and delicious snacks, to henna, laughter, and friendly Kahoots competition it was wonderful seeing sisters come together to celebrate, and enjoy the spirit of Chand Raat before Eid. 💙💚
