The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 5 February 2026 at 10.00am at the Cathedral of St Stephen.
The funeral will proceed to the Nudgee Cemetery for the Rite of Christian Burial at 1pm. A Vigil Liturgy will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Chapel, 736 Beams Road, Carseldine at 3pm on Saturday 31 January 2026.

Sadly, we have received news that Fr Peter Casey passed away last night. Fr Peter has been living at St Vincent’s Community, Carseldine since 2018. He served in the parishes of Lutwyche and Annerley Ekibin as an Assistant Priest, Administrator for Buranda and Parish Priest of Ipswich, Cannon Hill, and Camp Hill.
Funeral details will be announced in the coming days. May he rest in peace and experience the eternal presence of Christ he has both loved and served.
