We live in an anti-authoritarian culture.
Compared to years gone by, we don’t readily respect people in positions of authority simply because of the position they’re in. These days, respect has to be earned.
Which begs the question: what kind of authority is worthy of respect? If you’re in a position of authority, how do you exercise that authority in a healthy way?
In 2 Corinthians 10 we see three hallmarks of healthy authority. These hallmarks are displayed in the life of the apostle Paul, and ultimately in the heart of Jesus Christ.
Join us this Sunday for Father's Day as we think through these important issues - including the question of what role our fathers play in teaching us about healthy authority.
