On this beautiful feast, we celebrate Mary, the Mother of God, being taken body and soul into the glory of heaven. Her Assumption points us towards the hope of eternal life and the glorious destiny to which God calls each of us in Christ.

After more than 30 years of planning and saving, the parish community of St Clareโ€™s, Narellan Vale, has marked the beginning of construction on its new church with a sod-turning ceremony led by Wollongong Bishop Brian Mascord.
