You are invited to join the Dominican Friars and Sisters on Friday, 4th September for an evening of prayer, formation, and fellowship. This event is open to men and women of all ages. The evening will consist of Eucharistic Adoration, Vespers and Benediction, a light dinner, and a talk by Professor Hayden Ramsay and Father James Baxter, OP. Be inspired by the story of our own, Fr Robert Krishna.

Robert Krishna’s journey to the Catholic faith is a remarkable story of searching for truth.

Born into a Hindu family, Krishna later embraced atheism, believing that religion could not provide convincing answers to life's deepest questions. Yet his search did not end there.

What ultimately captivated him was the Christian claim that God did not remain distant from humanity but entered human history in the person of Jesus Christ. The belief that God became man and willingly suffered and died for the salvation of humanity profoundly moved him and led him to explore Christianity more deeply.

That search eventually brought him into full communion with the Catholic Church. Today, Fr. Robert Krishna serves as a Dominican priest in Australia, dedicating his life to preaching the Gospel and helping others encounter Christ.

His story is a reminder that faith journeys often take unexpected paths and that sincere seekers can be led to surprising destinations.
