The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is an initiative that raises awareness and funds for Australians experiencing homelessness. As part of the event, participants spend one night sleeping outside to gain a small insight into the reality faced by thousands of people across the country.

This year, Fr Josh is taking part in the Sleepout to help raise funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society and support Australians experiencing homelessness and hardship.

There will also be an opportunity to give cash at Sunday Masses. If you wish to do so, please leave cash in a clearly marked envelope.

This Sunday, our parish community gives thanks to God as Fr Josh celebrates 7 years since his ordination to the priesthood.

We are grateful for all he does for our parish communities and for the faith, dedication, and generosity he brings to his ministry.

Please join us in congratulating Fr Josh and keeping him in your prayers. May God continue to bless him and guide him in the years ahead.

This weekend we joyfully celebrated Pentecost and our third annual Parish Service Day — giving thanks for all who serve in ministry across our parish.

Service is one of the beautiful visible signs of the Holy Spirit at work in our lives. When the Spirit takes hold, hearts are moved to give generously, to serve joyfully, and to pour themselves out for others in the way of Christ.

We were blessed to celebrate and pray for all who serve during Mass, and then continue the celebration afterwards with the cutting of the Parish Service Day cake.

Thank you to every person who says “yes” to the Spirit’s call to serve. You help make Christ visible in our parish community. 🕊️🎂

As National Volunteer Week nears its end, we thank those who have volunteered their time and gifts in supporting the choir and worship within our parish liturgies.

As St Augustine is often credited with saying, “Singing is praying twice.” Through sacred music, volunteers help our parish community pray and participate more deeply in the Mass.

Joining the choir is a beautiful way to grow in faith, community, and service through the liturgy. If you would like to get involved, please contact the Parish Office.
