One Another!
“Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.””

Jesus He provided for the church a way for us to be united and be one as a family. To have hope and bring hope not only to each other but to the world around us.
According to Paul, there are things that as Jesus followers we get to do for one another all because of what Jesus set up on the Cross for us, He made us one body.
Here’s his list:
Submit to one another. Eph 5:21
Forgive one another. Eph 4:32
Encourage one another. 1 Thes 5:11
Motivate one another. Heb 10:24
Serve one another. 1 Peter 4:10
Love one another. 1 John 4:7
Accept one another. Rom 15:7
Bear with one another. Col 3:13
Carry one another’s burdens. Gal 6:2
(These Scriptures are great to have marked in your Bibles)
If we were to ask Paul what faith expressing itself through love looks like, he might rattle off this list.
So as we think about this list let’s remember and Thank Jesus for providing us a way to build each other up and stand strong united because of what He accomplished at His death, burial and resurrection.
Let’s pray:
Father what an honour it is to remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us. May it stir us on to express our faith in love for one another. May we remember your forgiveness as we forgive eachother, may we remember your care as we care for one another. May we remember your love as we love one another and shine bright to all those around us.
