Tonight we had a great look at prayer... it is the beginning of understanding and stepping into what it means to be a church that "prays earnestly" (see Acts 12:5).

The church prayed earnestly while at the same time being astonished that God actually answered.

Even when their faith was not perfect, they still prayed earnestly.

This should encourage us greatly! :-)

Too often our imperfect faith discourages us from praying, but this story in Acts 12 encourages us to pray earnestly even if we feel like our faith isn't engaging "just right".

Pray earnestly anyway!

No Service This Sunday ⛺🌿

Penrith City Chapel will be away this weekend enjoying our annual Church Family Camp, so we won’t be gathering for our usual Sunday service.

We’ll be back next Sunday (29 March) at 4:30pm and we would love to see you then!
