Our Friendly Corner met last Wednesday in the Church. The guest speaker was Desley from Alta1 College who occupy the Church Hall during the week running a school that combines education with therapeutic care to help young people rebuild confidence, rediscover connection and move forward with purpose. It was a powerful talk, showcasing a few of their very successful stories. Thank you Desley.
Friendly Corner meet 9:30am 2nd and 4th Wednesday's usually in St Pauls Retirement Village Hall or a venue to be advised in the Church Bulletin.

Some of our men folk gathered on Saturday morning for their regular breakfast held usually on the first Saturday of the month. Ham and Eggs, toast and fruit, tea and coffee is provided and what ever meat/ sausages you wish to bring. They also meet at different venues on the third Tuesday of every month for a men's dinner.

Last Sunday we said goodbye to Rev Jock Dunbar who has been our supply minister for the last 3 months. We all wish him God's richest blessings in his new post at Aspley Uniting Church.
After the service, he had one last task to perform. A member of the congregation, Jaxon, requested adult baptism by immersion. We thank the Mortimer family for the use of their pool for this special occasion.

Today we delivered a few bags of lovingly hand made goodies to the Bright Bags Qld. Group in Wamuran. They were very pleased to receive these items made by members of the Palm Lakes, Beachmere Sands Ladies Craft Group. They will be going to Foster children being placed or relocated to new foster homes/parents. Thank you Bev and Sandra for receiving these gifts.

What a lovely day we had at Morayfield Shopping Centre today when 8 of our craft group manned the stall to sell our wares.
We met and spoke to some lovely people.
Congratulations Brett M for receiving the lovely Diamond Dot Painted box of chocolates.
Watch out for us back at Morayfield on 22nd Oct witth more yummy cakes, sweets, jam, chutney and craft.

A lovely ladies morning tea and devotion was had this morning with some lively conversation while we learnt a skill, new to some ladies. Thanks to Wendy and Pricilla for organizing and devotions and to Noela for teaching us how to make lovely cards.

In our service last Sunday Rev Jock suggested we gather and break bread together. Rev Jock joined the Caboolture craft group this morning to break bread together. A lovely morning was had by all.
