Last Saturday ladies from across the Caboolture Region gathered at the Caboolture UC for a lovely morning tea followed by a devotion which involved all. Then we did some painting and diamond dot art. A few ladies had never tried the dot art although a number are very good at it and were very helpful. Thank you Pricilla and Wendy for a lovely morning. Be watching for the next one in Oct which will involve Chair Yoga.

Beachmere Palm Care monthly worship service. Thanks to Peggy, Dawn, Sandy and all volunteers for their time and supports.

This is one of 4 aged care facilities across the Caboolture Region where our volunteers conduct a monthly worship service. Thanks also to Rose, Fay, and Pricilla.

Thank you Chaplain Tanya Richards for coming and taking part in our service on Sunday to tell us a bit about Frontier Services and her area of Bottletree which operates out of Roma and covers a huge distance. Last Saturday, Trinity College Queensland hosted a Church History Symposium celebrating almost 50 years of the Uniting Church in Queensland. The day formed part of IUC’s very own Dr Rachel Krohn’s History of Christianity in Australia unit.
Rev Malia Ma’u and Fay McCafferty attended representing Caboolture Region, and showcasing a beautiful banner from Upper Caboolture which last year celebrated the churches150 year Anniversary.

Members of our Friendly Corner group met on Wednesday as usual and had some fun with craft this time. Items displayed below.

Friendly Corner meets on the 2nd & 4th Wed of the month usually at St Paul's Lutheran Retirement Village Hall. Ladies and gentlemen attend to be entertained by guest speakers.

On other occasions there are trips to libraries, cafes and other interesting venues.

Last Sunday we were blessed to commission our new and continuing Church Council members, Elders and Office Bearers for the Caboolture Congregation.

We were also very happy to officially welcome the extended Tauelangi Family. We pray they will quickly feel a part of our congregation.

On this beautiful chilly morning some church members attended Alta-1 college to provide a pancake breakfast. Ian and Peter were great cooks and the pancakes were well received by students and staff.
Following this some members of the Caboolture Craft Group met at Hope Pointe church café for a lovely morning tea. A couple of our ladies did not quite make it into the photo (apologies from the photographer)

Tonight we welcomed Rev Malia and her children to our group of 3 churches (Beachmere, Caboolture and Upper Caboolture) with a great welcome meal. We look forward to getting to know her and children in the days ahead as our part time supply minister.
