As the Olympics begin in Tokyo, we prepare to cheer on a past student - Kaylee McKeown. Wishing you all the very best Kaylee.

Kaylee’s schedule:
Sun 25/7; 8pm-10.30pm: 100m back heat
Mon 26/7; 11.30am-1.40pm: 100m back semi
Tues 27/7; 11.30am-1.40pm: 100m back final
Thurs 29/7; 8pm-10.30pm: 200m back heat; mixed 4x100IM relay (if she races in this relay)
Fri 30/7; 11.30am-1.10pm: 200m back semi
Fri 30/7; 8pm-10.30pm: women’s 4x100 IM relay heat (depending on who’s fastest over there, Emily Seebohm may race in the heat & kaylee then swims the final)
Sat 31/7; 11.30am-1.20pm: 200m back final; 4x100 mixed IM relay final
Sun 1/8; 11.30am-1.25pm: women’s 4x100 IM relay final

It was a privilege to see some past students yesterday at St. Paul's during our Walk of Honour for Mr. Prinsloo. They were in Prep when Mr. Prinsloo became principal in our school. ❤️

We are so proud of our past student, Kaylee McKeown, who has broken the world record in the women's 100-metre backstroke on day two of the Australian Olympic swimming trials. We can't wait to see you representing Australia at the Olympics! That's a race we will be watching for sure!

Queensland swimmer Kaylee McKeown says she turned the death of her father into "hunger and motivation" to break the world record by more than a 10th of a second at the Olympic swimming trials.

This week we received the wonderful news that one of our Past Students, Declan Cabot, was announced as the 2020 Dux of Nudgee College. This is the second year in a row that the Nudgee College Dux is a St Paul’s old boy. What a great affirmation for us as a learning community. Thank you to every staff member at St Paul’s who, daily, is part of laying rich and strong foundations in our students’ lives. Mr. Prinsloo
