Good morning

2 Corinthians 10:4
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.

We looked at the battlefield of the mind on Sunday morning and I have been going deeper still.

The thing about this verse isn't so much about the weapons. We know that we aren't meant to run around slashing with a physical sword... its spiritual. But the sword of metal can slash, the sword of the spirit does the same to strongholds.
That's the key here.

STRONGHOLDS:
A fortified place. A place of security or SURVIVAL. A place marked by a particular characteristic.

Oh my goodness! What are your strongholds? Maybe your stronghold was a place of survival. Abuse, bullying etc. Maybe your stronghold has a characteristic. Anger, gossip, despair.
Now it is so fortified you believe it can never be broken or demolished.

Not true! The weapon of choice is the Word of God. It cuts, slashes and is sharper than any other weapon. Think about that on the natural and imagine that sword cutting your anger, despair or addiction.

How I hear you ask? Jesus would start His sentences with... It is written....
So I say to you my friends... it is written in James 4:7 submit to God, resist the devil and he will FLEE!.
It is written in 2 Timothy 1:7 for God did not give ME the spirit of fear, but of POWER, LOVE AND SELF-CONTROL.

I cannot stress enough... get a scripture for each stronghold. Just as we use a different knife for different purposes, so we need a WORD for each stronghold.

Today be blessed. Put on the full armour.

This is a longish video but I encourage you to play it and let it flood your being. He is worthy of it all and He is the Lamb of God.

Worthy of it all. Worthy of the happy and the sad. Worthy because He chose it. Worthy because He is the Lamb.

Next Sunday we are going to spend time in worship. No restraints. No agenda. No holding back.

He wants intimacy. He wants surrender. HE WANTS YOU.

Morning. We had a great morning at church yesterday.

I want to encourage you today to remember whose you are. Condemnation, guilt and shame are not from God. They are weapons the enemy uses to distract you, to pull your eyes away from the Father, and lies.
