One God. Three Persons. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in majesty and glory, One in Three and Three in One.

God’s very nature can be summed up in three words: God is love. Love must have a giver, a receiver, and the love that unites them.

The Father loves the Son, the Son loves the Father, and the Holy Spirit is the living bond of that eternal love.

The Trinity is not just a dogma of the faith or a formula recited at liturgy — it is the very heart of the Christian way of life.

This feast is the Church’s great Te Deum of gratitude — a synthesis of Christmas, Epiphany, Easter, Ascension, and Pentecost all in one.

And the most beautiful part?

This unity in diversity of the Holy and Blessed Trinity is all-inclusive — every human being is welcome to partake in the life of the Trinity.

Happy Feast Day of Our Lady Help of Christians! 🌹✝️

For Australians, it’s especially close to home. She is the spiritual patron of Australia, and while Our Lady has many titles, it is as Help of Christians that she watches over this land.

This feast highlights two fundamental aspects of Our Lady’s help: her intercession in the individual believer’s struggle against sin, and her role as a collective protector, aiding Christians in their battle against evil forces.

She has never stopped coming to the aid of her children — in the quiet struggles of daily life, and in the heart of every soul who calls on her name.

Mary Help of Christians — pray for us. Pray for Australia. 🇦🇺
