A FORMULA FOR FAITH:
HEARING, SPEAKING & STEPPING OUT!

What are you putting your trust in?

Faith is more than simply saying, “I trust God.” True faith is putting that trust into action, even when circumstances seem impossible.

This Sunday, Pastor Dylan Grieve reminded us of the incredible story of the woman who had suffered for 12 years (Mark 5:25–34). Despite years of disappointment, hardship and obstacles, she believed Jesus could heal her.

Her story reveals three powerful keys to growing our faith:

👂 1. HEAR – Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). What we listen to matters! Fill your heart with God’s promises, His Word and testimonies of His goodness.

🗣️ 2. SPEAK – Our words have power! Are we speaking fear and doubt, or declaring our trust in God’s promises? Let our words reflect the faith we have in Him.

👣 3. STEP OUT – Faith requires action! Just as Peter stepped out of the boat and the woman pushed through the crowd to reach Jesus, we are called to trust Him beyond our fears, obstacles and past disappointments.

✨ Don’t let your circumstances become bigger than your faith in God!

Perhaps you’ve been praying for a breakthrough, believing for healing, restoration in your family or salvation for someone you love. Don’t lose heart. Keep praying, keep trusting and keep stepping out in faith.

💛 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” – Proverbs 3:5

Hear His Word. Speak His promises. Step out in faith.

Because our faith isn’t in what we can do — it’s in what GOD can do! 🙌

This week, Pastor Noah continues our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting series, encouraging us to seek God, deepen our relationship with Him and discover the power of prayer in our everyday lives. 🙏

Whether you’ve been walking with Jesus for years, are exploring faith, or simply looking for a church to call home, you are welcome here!

✨ Here’s what you can look forward to:

🌈 Kids Church – A fun and engaging space for our primary school-aged kids to learn about Jesus, build friendships and grow in faith during the message.

👶 Mother’s Room – Our newly renovated space offers a peaceful and comfortable retreat for mums and their little ones, while still being connected to the service.

☕ Coffee & Connection – Church doesn’t end when the service does! Stick around for a cuppa, catch up with friends or make some new ones. There’s always room for one more!

⛪ Sunday Service: 9:15am

Bring your filled shoeboxes back this weekend 🙌

🎁 OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD – LET’S GET ON BOARD! 🎄❤️

This year we’d love our Hope Community Church family to get behind Operation Christmas Child and help fill shoeboxes with gifts for children around the world.

It’s such a simple way for individuals, families, Connect Groups and ministries to get involved — filling a shoebox with practical items, something special and lots of love, all while helping share the hope and love of Jesus. ✝️🌏

📦 Shoeboxes are available to collect from church, ready for you to take home and fill.

Why not grab one (or a few!) this Sunday and make it a family project? Every box has the opportunity to bless a child and remind them that they are seen, valued and loved.

🙏 21 Days of Breakthrough – The Power of Prayer 🙏

As we continue our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, Pastor Noah reminded us that prayer produces two powerful things: PEACE and POWER.

📖 Philippians 4:6–7 reminds us to bring EVERYTHING before God in prayer, with thanksgiving, trusting Him with every situation.

🕊️ Prayer Produces Peace
God’s peace doesn’t come from knowing how things will work out, but from knowing WHO holds the outcome. Just like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, we can stand firm in faith, trusting that God is able, even when we don’t know what lies ahead.

🔥 Prayer Releases God’s Power
Throughout Scripture, we see God responding to the prayers of His people. From Hannah and Elijah to the early church, we are reminded that prayer is powerful, God hears us, and He is still at work today.

Whatever you’re facing — health concerns, financial pressures, broken relationships, worries for loved ones or unanswered prayers — nothing is too big or too small to bring before God.

Sometimes we become so focused on trying to fix things ourselves that we forget to stop and pray.

❤️ Remember what God has done before, and let His faithfulness strengthen your faith for what lies ahead.

As we continue these 21 Days of Breakthrough, we encourage you to bring your needs before Jesus. Whether you’re participating for 21 days, seven days or simply joining us in prayer, everyone is welcome.

Our prayer boards are available for you to share your requests, and our church family is faithfully lifting these needs before God.

🙏 Don’t underestimate the power of prayer. God is listening, God is able, and God is with us.
