MORE THAN A MANIFESTATION

Knowing the Holy Spirit Personally
Many want His power. Few pursue His presence.

The gifts of the Spirit are not trophies to collect or experiences to chase. They are the overflow of a life lived in relationship with the Holy Spirit. Too often we become fascinated with what God does while neglecting who He is. The gifts are powerful, biblical, and necessary—but they were never meant to be the destination.

Romans 8 reminds us that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead now dwells within every believer. He is not merely a source of power for ministry; He is our Comforter, Counsellor, Helper, Teacher, and Friend.

This Sunday we’ll explore the difference between pursuing the gifts and pursuing the Gift Giver—because true spiritual power flows from intimacy with God, not merely experiences with Him.

This Sunday at RPCC. 10am Worship Service.

* On the first Pentecost, 3,000 died.
* On the second Pentecost, 3,000 were given life.
* One mountain received tablets of stone.
* One Upper Room received tongues of fire.
* One revealed man’s inability to reach God.
* The other revealed God’s power living within man.

The question for the Church today is simple:

Are we pursuing an Upper Room experience, or have we settled for business as usual?

The Holy Spirit was not given to make us comfortable—He was given to make us powerful.

This Sunday, we’ll explore the power of Pentecost and God’s heart for a Church that is filled, empowered, and sent.

This Sunday at RPCC

Have we reduced Christianity to an experience instead of transformation? In a generation chasing comfort, Jesus is still calling people deeper. Not just to attend church, but to become disciples — people transformed by truth, refined through surrender, and willing to follow Him fully.

God is doing a new thing, but pruning is part of the process — and pruning is never comfortable. This message is a challenge to move beyond surface-level faith and ask the hard question: Are we simply believers… or are we truly disciples?
