Had a great session with Pastor Ben from FaithFM tonight. He challenged us to consider whether our faith and our church is built on the solid rock, Jesus. Really looking forward to what he has to share tomorrow (Saturday) at 11:15am.

This Saturday, we have a special guest speaker for our worship program, Pastor Benjamin Ng. Benjamin is the Engagement, Marketing, and Content Coordinator for Faith FM. We are really excited to welcome him to Burnie. The title of Benjamin's talk during our worship program is a very interesting one - "The Inefficiency of God." If you would like to know what he means by that (I know we are very intrigued), you are very welcome to join us at 11:15am.

As always, we also have Bible study starting at 10am and our worship program is followed by a free lunch at (about) 12:30pm. Everyone is most welcome to join us for any, or all, of these activities.

The theme of our worship program this Saturday, 15 August is "All of my cares...". God promises us that we can trust Him with all our cares - big and small. Everyone is welcome to come and learn, or be reminded, how we can give all our worries to Him. If you want to come a bit earlier, we have Bible study starting at 10am. And if you want to stay a bit later, you are welcome to join us for lunch at about 12:30pm.

Then in the afternoon we have a pathfinder and adventurer club meeting. This is a program for children between the ages of 4-15 years old. It starts at 3pm. Plus we have a trivia night starting at 6pm.

You are very welcome to join us for whatever parts of the program are of interest to you. We hope to see you this Saturday.

Join us at church this Saturday (8 August) for Bible study at 10am and/or our main church program at 11:15am. We are excited that this week our Tasmanian Conference president, Pr Jeff Parker, will be spending the day with us and sharing about the beautiful Bible verses found in Matthew 11 where Jesus promises to give us rest. If you would like to find rest and peace for your soul, come along and spend some time getting to know Jesus. You are also very welcome to join us for a free lunch at (about) 12:30pm. We also have a beginner's Bible study at 2pm that is open to anyone wanting to learn about the Bible. The topic this week is "God, what is He like?" Hope to see you there :).
