The Sovereign Military Order of the Knights Templar Tasmania - OSMTJ.

The Sovereign Military Order of the Knights Templar Tasmania - OSMTJ. OSMTJ-Tasmania is a benevolent ecumenical religious Order helping disenfranchised and under privilege Our Main Purpose/Objective.

It is our organisations core purpose to use all “our” collective abilities, also revenue channels from our interactive learning programs also our swordsmanship performances to endeavour to provide a greater focus and much needed direct financial benevolent assistance and relief primarily towards supporting Homeless Youths, Street Trouble, Crime Prevention, Poverty and Misfortune and the rampant fe

eling of Hopelessness amongst our youths. With direct access from our “Orders” Templar Knights trusted counselling, youth mentoring and advocacy intervention we can address positive options in life skills education, nutritional health and fitness, vocational training, also provide access to assessable community role models further highlighting known employment options within our regions for the benefit and advancement of all the above. We are ecumenical in faith and have nothing to do with Masons or Free-masonry although we have nothing against them we have nothing in common either. Our Order OSMTJ International goes directly back through linage to the initial founding Knights Templar members and their values. We try to understand others as they understand themselves; we try to avoid any expressions, judgements or action that falsifies their condition or currant place in our community. Our Orders ecumenical honesty means we do not look upon others through the prism of their weakest elements. We assist others to allow growth and fulfilment to occur in a truly cooperative manner and have been doing so since day one.
