Please pray for:
- Devonport Anglican as they await the arrival of their new minister.
- Council elections under way this week. That God will raise up men and women after his own heart to lead our city for the next four years.

Awesome Heavenly Father,
You alone are good. We thank you that you are sovereign and firmly in control, and that you hold a perfect plan and purpose for each of our lives.
Help us to lift our eyes above the noise of the world around us, to see the beauty, to appreciate the detail and intricacies of your creation. Help us to discern your will, and grant us the wisdom, desire and to act accordingly.

Please be aware of a new scam - voice cloning.
No one from Burnie Anglican will ever call you and ask for money.
No one from Burnie Anglican will ever contact someone under 18 without the parent being in the conversation and we will never phone someone under 18.

As in the text and messenger scams of the past, I will not ask you to send or transfer money at any point.

This is big news for both the Diocese of Bathurst, but also for us here in Tasmania.
Please pray for Stephen and Joanne as they prepare for this new call of God upon their life and family. Pray also for our Diocese, for our Bishop and for the ministry team as this change is absorbed within our church family.

Earlier this afternoon, our diocesan Administrator Archdeacon Andrew Thornhill advised the diocese with great joy and gratitude to God, that the Venerable Dr. Stephen Carnaby is to be our next Bishop! Full announcement below.

Please be in prayer for Stephen and his wife Joanne as they continue to prepare for this move and new ministry; and for the diocese of Tasmania as they receive this news.
