Last Sunday, as we celebrated the Presentation of Our Lord Jesus, we also presented to the community and commissioned our new Altar Servers, Jack and Seb, as well as recommissioned our current Altar Servers for another year. Congratulations to our dear Altar Servers and THANK YOU for your service at the Lord's table. Our gratitude goes out as well to the parents and families for all your continuing support!

Last Saturday, we celebrated the end of another year with our Christmas party at OtherWorld HQ in Surfers Paradise. The kids played Saboteurs - a live action version of the popular video game "Among Us". We had a great time and enjoyed this team building activity. Thank you once again to all our altar servers old and new for another year of your untiring servide to our Lord during the mass! Well done! Thank you also to Padre and the Burleigh Heads Parish community for all your unwavering support!😍

Late post: last Sunday at the celebration of the Feast of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of The Universe, we enrobed Jack and Sebastian with their altar server albs. They also received their first Holy Communion in culmination of their Sacramental Program which began early this year. Congratulations Jack and Seb and we look forward to your service as you move from your ministry of apprenticeship to more regular altar server duties.

COMMISSIONED AND READY!
Yesterday at the 10am mass, we had our Altar Servers commisioning ceremony at Mary Mother of Mercy Church. Congratulations to all our altar servers! May the Holy Spirit fill you with love for God, for this community, and for Jesus whom you meet and serve in the Sacred Liturgy. We, your parish community, pledge to you our prayers, encouragement, and support. Thank you to Padre and Father Jack for guiding us in this ministry, and special thanks as well to all the parents who continually support and encourage us!
