Sunshine, rain or hail, the Car Building Workshop will be going ahead tomorrow Saturday the 1st of August from 8:30am to 3:00pm at the Bundaberg West Baptist Church on Avoca Street.

Will you be there?

A few things to note for tomorrow:

All children must be supervised by a parent or carer at all times.

The machines our volunteers use can be noisy. If you are sensitive to noise, please ensure you bring hearing protection.

The machines also produce fine sawdust. If you are sensitive to, or have a dust allergy, please ensure you bring a mask and any medication you may need.

Please be patient. It can get busy at times during the workshop, but please know that your car will be made.

Our volunteers will try their best to make sure your car is made to your design, however sometimes they may not be able to get every detail exactly how you planned.

When you purchase your car kit, you will be given a registration form to complete. Please make sure to hand this to us before you leave so we can enter your car into the racing software for the Wood and Wheels Race.

Please note we do not have EFTPOS, so it will be cash only.

But most importantly, bring your creativity! We cannot wait to see all your designs :-)

Combined churches service
Saturday 15th August

Join in with churches in Bundaberg for our Combined Church Service as we gather across every generation to worship Jesus, celebrate all God is doing, and share in the joy of being one church family. We'd love to see you there.

Service starts at 4pm, followed by a Sausage Sizzle at 5pm.

Held at Bundaberg Christian College, and hosted by the Bundaberg Ministers Association.

Bundaberg Baptist Church are partnering with their friends and neighbours at BUSHkids to offer the Bundaberg community a free screening of SEEN: The Film.

This powerful documentary explores the impact of our own childhood experiences on the way we parent, lead, and connect with others, offering valuable insights for parents, carers, educators, and anyone interested in personal growth and wellbeing.

Wood and Wheels Racing time again!

Well good evening Wood and Wheels Racing fans! We hope you are all doing well.

Some of you may have seen that we have created a couple of events for this year's Bundaberg West Baptist Church Wood and Wheels Race. The first of which is a Car Building Workshop being held on Saturday the 1st of August 2026 at the Bundaberg West Baptist Church on Avoca Street. Anyone in the ages of Primary School (including Prep) to Adults can participate in this fun, safe, family event. We will post more details over the coming weeks, but if you have any questions at all in the meantime, feel free to send us a message and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

The Bundaberg West Baptist Church have been hosting this event since 2010 and it has been a greatly enjoyed event by many families over this time and we would love to see you there again this year.

Combined Baptist prayer at Coral Coast

Combined Prayer Meeting will be held at Coast Church on 2 June. We’ll gather from 6pm for a bring-a-plate meal together, followed by the prayer meeting at 7pm.
