YES YOU WILL BE HOME BY DARK. :-) Please remember that the Bundaberg combined church service in on this coming Saturday, August 15th. Service wil be held at the BUNDABERg Chrisan College and starts at 4pm, once finished there will be a time of fellowship, with a sausage sizzle and coffee for all who want to stay for a catchup and chat with our broader Christian family. Tomorrow we celebrate the life of this wonderful lady who has been a big part of of our lives for many years .
For me personally, I have know Lyn for around 40 years. Our paths first crossed at a class at TAFE, we were both students, who just seemed to connect with one another. A few years later I met Lyn at this church. Lyn's ability to play the piano was always a blessing, to this day I know no one else who can 'tickle the ivories' with all the fiddly bits quite like she did. It was always a pleasure to play or sing with her, in her words 'I will find you' and find the wandering congregational singing she did. I starting working with Lyn at Council in 2003, she was 'the boss', friend, confidante, match maker and jokester who brought so much fun to the workplace.
Lyn had a genuine love for people and for the Lord. Mrs Boss may you rest in peace, free from all pain and sickness until we meet again.
Our prayers and love to Lyn's family as they mourn and recollect the wonderful memories of your life.

It is with both sadness and joy that I share the passing of Roy Simonds who for a while attended our Moore Park Beach Church. Roy is now in the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and will be missed by many in the Bundaberg community. Roy and his beautiful wife Muriel were also longtime friends of our church in Svensson Heights and actively supported our mission outreach.

For those wanting to attend, Roy’s funeral service will be held to be at Branyan Gardens at 10:30am on Thursday the 30th of April. May you rest well Roy.
