Bundaberg Baptist Church

Bundaberg Baptist Church We are a family seeking to connect people with God and with each other. Please take some time to read through.

Bundaberg Baptist church was formed in 1945 to provide a Baptist witness to the community. Since then, as the church has continued to grow, we have met in various locations until moving to our present site in 1993. We have various ministries catering for all age groups including children, youth, seniors and family support. At Bundaberg Baptist we believe in the importance of knowing with some clarity what we hold as truth, so below we have our statement of faith for all to see.

Following the screening, attendees will have the opportunity to explore practical next steps and connect with staff from BUSHkids and Nicole Mendel, Training Coordinator at Bundaberg Baptist Family Services.

Join Us This Sunday – 21 June 2026
We warmly invite you to our Sunday Morning Service this week as we gather to worship, encourage one another, and grow together in Christ.

☕ Shared Morning Tea to Follow
After the service, we'll enjoy a time of fellowship over morning tea. Please bring a plate of food to share if you're able.

📋 Special Members Meeting
Following morning tea, we will hold a Special Members Meeting to present the recommended changes to our church constitution. These recommendations have been prepared to align with the requirements of the Office of Fair Trading, Queensland Baptists and Bundaberg Baptist Church Leadership. This will also include amendment requests submitted by church members.

🙏 Please Continue to Pray
As we move through this important process, we ask our church family to continue praying for wisdom, unity, and discernment. May God's will guide every discussion and decision, strengthening us as a loving and Christ-centred church community.
We look forward to worshipping and fellowshipping with you this Sunday.

"Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." – Ephesians 4:3 💙

At Bundaberg Baptist Family Services, we want everyone to be seen, heard, and supported.

We're excited to work alongside Emmie and Nicole, who will be supervising and facilitating the free Bringing Up Great Kids and Circuit Breaker programs. While eligibility criteria apply, these courses offer practical support, encouragement, and connection in a nurturing environment.

We've seen some wonderful stories of growth and positive change, and we'd love to help more individuals and families experience the same.

Coming in Term 3!! Would you like to build a stronger more meaningful connection with your child? This program helps you to gain perspective into your child's development and world, while meeting your needs too, building healthy foundations for family relationships. Register your interest in this free program by scanning the QR code or contacting us on the info below.

Our bodies carry stories our minds may have forgotten.
Sometimes our reactions don’t make sense on the surface. We tell ourselves to move on, stay calm, or let it go, yet something deeper is stirred.
The truth is, childhood experiences don't just live in memory. They can live in the body too.
Healing often begins when we stop asking, "What's wrong with me?" and start asking, "What happened to me?"
What if your reactions aren't flaws to fix, but messages inviting you to understand yourself more deeply?

What a joy it was to gather for our Combined Baptist Church Service on Sunday 7 June 2026.

At 9.30am, well over 350 people came together in worship and communion. The unity in the room was palpable and invigorating as we caught up with old friends, made new ones, and shared a beautiful taste of heaven on earth.
As one attendee exclaimed, “Look at all the Baptists!”
