SUNDAY'S MESSAGE

Have you ever wondered if you’re missing some of the blessings God has already placed in your life?

Sometimes we struggle to receive God’s blessings because we don’t feel worthy. We look at our past, our mistakes or our failures and think, “Surely God wouldn’t bless someone like me.”

But Ephesians 1:3 reminds us that in Christ, we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing.

Sometimes the problem isn’t that God hasn’t blessed us — it’s that we haven’t recognised the blessing, or we haven’t known how to steward what He has placed in our hands. Like the prodigal son, we can even squander what we have been given.

Yet God is still our Provider.

He can make a way where there seems to be no way. He provided for His people in the wilderness, and He is still able to provide for us today.

We are people of faith. We don't have to understand everything we see or hear before we believe that God is at hand and His heavenly storehouse is not empty.

Sometimes there is a delay—not because God has forgotten us, but because something in us needs to change to make room for what He wants to give.

So today, instead of asking, “Why don’t I have more?” perhaps ask:
‘Lord, what blessings have You already placed in my hands—and am I ready to receive what You want to do next?’

Walk in your heritage.
Trust His provision.
Make room for His blessing
Believe that God is still making a way. ❤️

‘Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.’ (Ephesians 1:3)

Sunday 16th August

IT’S TIME TO MOVE FORWARD

We are living in a time of DIVINE TRANSITION.
God is shifting us from one season into another—from what has been into the next new thing He has prepared for us.
This isn’t simply change. It is a shift orchestrated by God, aligning us with a greater purpose.

SO, WHAT DOES MOVING FORWARD LOOK LIKE?

1. SPIRITUAL GROWTH
We begin to move away from old habits, doubts and superficial routines. We desire something deeper with God.

2. RELATIONAL SHIFTS
Sometimes God prunes our relationships. Old friendships may naturally fade when our paths and purposes no longer align.

3. DIVINE DISRUPTIONS
Closed doors, discomfort and unexpected circumstances can be God's way of redirecting us toward His calling.

4. TRUST & SURRENDER
We release our need to control the timeline and learn to trust God's purposes and plans.

God is moving each of us toward our individual destiny—but He is also moving His Church toward its destiny.
He is advancing us and equipping us for things greater than we have ever known. Why?

So that His Kingdom can grow on the earth.

God doesn't need us to accomplish His purposes—but He wants to use us.
‘Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.’ (Philippians 3:13–14)

FORWARD IS A FAITH WORD.

At the Red Sea, Israel had nowhere else to go. FORWARD.
God told Moses in Exodus 14:15, ‘Tell the Israelites to move on.’
In Joshua 3, the priests had to step into the water before they saw the way open.

Sometimes God doesn't show us the whole path. He simply says: ‘MOVE.’

All it takes is OBEDIENCE.

Then we move—and trust that God will meet us there.
There will be obstacles.
There will be delays.
There will be moments when we wonder if we heard God correctly.
But a word from God doesn't always mean an instant outcome.
Sometimes we have to WAIT.

The four lepers in 2 Kings 7:3 weren't prepared to sit passively and wait for things to change. They got up and moved forward.

Their desperation stripped away fear, pride and hesitation—and their movement became part of God's answer.

DON'T SIT PASSIVELY WAITING FOR CHANGE.
Move forward.
Overcome fear with faith.
Take the risk of obedience.
Trust God with what you cannot see and use your circumstances as opportunities to share the Good News.

As individuals—and together as a Church—it is time to move:

FROM RELIGION → TO RELATIONSHIP
FROM OBLIGATION → TO DEDICATION
FROM ATTACHMENT → TO PURPOSE

Because we cannot walk into our future while remaining anchored to our past.
1 Peter 2:9 reminds us that we are chosen, called and set apart for God's purposes.
If you ever question your worth, look at the cross.
God has already demonstrated the value He places on you by giving His Son for you.

SO WHAT DO WE DO NOW?

RENEW YOUR MIND.
Romans 12:2 — Get lost in God's Word until His thoughts begin to shape yours.
THINK LIKE JESUS.
Philippians 2:5 — Let the mind of Christ become your pattern.
BECOME NEW.
Ephesians 4:21–24 — Allow God to renew your heart and mind.

And as we move forward, let's carry four things with us:

KINDNESS — Be good to others.
INTEGRITY — Do what is right, even when it is hard.
SERVICE — Put the needs of others before your own.
RESILIENCE — Stay strong and courageous through difficult seasons.

GOD IS NOT TAKING US BACK. HE IS TAKING US FORWARD.

The question is not whether God is moving.
The question is: WILL WE MOVE WITH HIM?
There are things ahead that we have never seen.
There are doors we have never walked through.
There are people we have never reached.
There is Kingdom work still to be done.
So don't keep looking behind you.
Don't let fear hold you in place.
Don't let yesterday become an anchor around your future.

HEAR HIS WORD.
TRUST HIS PURPOSE.
OBEY HIS LEADING.
AND MOVE FORWARD.
God will meet you there.
